Yes, each guide leads conversations for their own group, even if its their first time. However, at every M&G, there will be one or more lead guides present who’s job is to manage event logistics for the night. The leads are all experienced guides who have once been new guides themselves, and they can answer any questions you have.
Lead guides manage all event logistics for the Meet and Greet, including arriving early to set up the venue space and helping all guides and participants get to the right tables. Based on the size of the M&G, there may be one lead or multiple leads.
As the guide, you’ll check in at 6:15pm with one of the leads. You’ll be shown to your table, and your job is then to welcome & include gals as they are seated. This is your moment to be the best hostess you can be and make sure everyone feels included. Then by 6:45pm, you start the M&G agenda.
